My 2 remaining of my first hatch. Notice Aggie is tufted/bearded. She was the only female with that characteristic. Attachments:

Cindy Thats very interesting about the tufted and bearded trait. Especially since these are second generation Lyle Behl Icelandics. I was told that someone brough over eggs that hatched this trait and she got rid of them believing them to be outcrosses. It appears to be a possible Icelandic trait then. I will ask Lyle if he has seen this trait or if it is an Atavistic traitthat has arisen from the distant past. Very very interesting, and they are beautiful! Andy
